Product Description Inspired by trendy elements from the world's foremost products, the MSI Wind U135 high end design is based on an understated presence that still attracts attention. The combination of MSI exclusive Color Film Print technology, flowing silver lines and rippling water design with the laid back and graceful Wind Dancer Black gives the U135 out of the ordinary presence. The stylish chiclet keyboard design expands the area of contact between fingers and keys when compared to regular keyboards, reducing typing errors and increasing comfort. A 20% wider touch pad gives fingers more freedom of movement. No need to bring along heavy power supply units and look all over for outlets, the Wind U135 offers 7.5 hours of battery life to give you full power all day long.Built-in high resolution webcam, 2 channel stereo speakers and a microphone, all fitted perfectly within the framework design, expressing the slickness of technology and the elegance of modern fashion.MSI Wind U135 is powered by the all-new generation of Intel Atom processor, which delivers additional graphics and system performance while enabling longer battery life.

Customer Reviews: Great for day to day. August 23, 2010 Mark S I had recently upgraded my notebook to a 15 inch wide screen which was too big to carry. I started looking at net-books to carry everyday. I didn't need much as I could remote to another system for any thing requiring more horsepower. I started comparing net-books. I wanted the newest Atom chip but didn't want to spend lots of money having just bought a high end notebook. I had used MSI video cards and Motherboards in the past and been very happy with the quality and a while back 2 MSI laptops had been purchased for our fleet and been noting but exemplary. This net-book fits my needs perfectly. It is lite and the battery lasts forever. I get a good 6 hours with normal use and some power save functions. I highly recommend spending the extra money to get the extended battery. I did an anytime upgrade to win7 pro and have had no performance issues. I was surprised to find that it can play Xvid and H.264 encoded movies without any issues. Even flash video works but not HD flash video but I expected this. The keyboard is easy to use and I don't find my self making any more typos than normally. The screen is too small to do any content creation with but this is not its fault. Over all this has fit my needs and I am very happy with it.
another msi netbook for me May 5, 2010 John Ries (MI) I purchased a U120 for myself but my wife took it over. I purchased a U135 as a replacement. My only disappointment was the reflective screen. I upgraded Windows 7 to the Pro level without problem. Battery life is good!. The only issue is that my Yahoo email server complains that it needs 1024 x 768 resolution for optimum performance, but I see no problems with this.
